I purchased these for summertime use so I don't have to wear pants when I'm weed eating so I don't destroy my calves from flying debris...and they are perfect!!! I'm 5'8" and the length is outstanding. The tops and bottoms have stretchy material and drawstrings so they are tight and snug.

I do find they do not breath very well and my legs get warm when using them but they do the job of protection my legs from highspeed Weed Wacker debris making cuts on my legs :)

I through these away after one use. They fit better on your arms than your legs. They are hot, small, with no way to take them off except to take off your shoes/boots.Would not recommend

A must-have for weed-whacking, these and disposable shoe covers and no one will be the wiser that you trimmed your lawn or knocked down a field of weeds. Good value for the money.

I string trim my one acre Kona coffee farm on the Big Island of Hawaii and weeds and grasses grow quickly here. Our ground is strewn with small pieces of lava rock which really hurt when tossed by the string trimmer toward my legs. I have tried the heavier protective chaps and they are just too hot to wear in this warm, humid environment. These are light, easy to put over your trousers and provide some protection. They are held on by elastic at the top and a drawstring which takes a bit of getting used to. A bit thicker material on one side would be better protection from rocks, but they work and I do use them and recommend them for a lighter weight way to protect legs while "weed eating."
