Nice design enables cracking most sizes and shapes of nuts. Materials appear rugged enough to endure a lot of nut cracking, but time will tell.

Great product! I have used many different styles and this may be the best. Cone takes a variety of sized nuts from large walnuts to small round hazelnuts and easily cracks the shells with good control to not mash the whole thing. Other smaller cracker surfaces helped with odd sizes like almonds or finishing up a Brazil nut.

I want to be clear that my 1-star only evaluations is for cracking the hazelnuts, which simply doesn't work. I read several reviews stating it was okay for the hazelnuts, but it is not. We keep it for walnuts, but must get something else for hazelnuts.
