I bought these applicators originally to seal our Terracotta entrance way. Since I only needed one applicator, I used the other one to clean all windows of my car by spraying auto glass cleaner on the applicator to wet the windows and polished with " The Perfect Car Drying Towel." (bought at Amazon), which is kind of a synthetic chamois and leaves the car windows sparkling clean. Also, these applicators can be used with an extendable pole to wash the walls and windows in the house. I

It was difficult to find a handle that matched the size and thread pattern. (Took 4 brooms, 1 dustmop then finally, the handle from my stick mop fit.) The first one I opened, was attached with less than 1 square inch of adhesive. The back is simply foam, so any pressure causes it to rip off the handle. Did not make 1/2 a board before the first one came apart. The second had about a 4" thin squiggly like of adhesive and held onto start the third board. Went to using a microfiber cloth balled up to finish the rest of my 15' x 35' deck.

I mis-read the description, thinking there was an expandable handle so you could use it & work in a standing position. Tried to find a handle using the name of the company. Have not found one to fit the pad threads in their handle. Went to Lowe’s and their threads on their handles are too big. May have to go to Ace Hardware with pad to match the threads. Can’t do job by getting on knees.

The deck pad applicator is far more easier and controllable to use than using a paint roller. It allowed for a better spread of stain to the deck space.

It covered well and works when a roller won’t. I had excellent results on cedar shakes on my house
