These are made from an outer smooth and shiny handle and what appears to be a pressed in plastic sleeve - no doubt as the inner plastic material provides lower friction and good wear resistance compared to the outer part. However, the inner sleeve is cracked and broken in the same manner on both of the handles (shown in pictures with bolt removed). Looks to be a manufacturing defect. The handles are still functional with the broken piece is staying in place. These would easily rate 5 stars without the defect.
