I use a manual bike pump to top off my car tires but the bulky hose attachment barely fits between my wheel spokes. These little adapters make that clearance a non-issue, so I'm keeping these in my car going forward. So handy, and crazy cheap for a 2-pack.

So I used these to be able to fill my spare tire without having to remove it from the trunk. Because the valve is almost always on the bottom of the tire when it is stored. I'm hoping they do not dry rot as they are rubber. Time will tell.

I have been building mattress lifting systems for seniors using fat bicycle inner tubes, providing an auxiliary stem on the outer perimeter of the tube and an extension stem. As a result, I am likely ordering an exorbitant quantity of these items (which will, no doubt, create havoc on logistic algorithms).That being said, I am extremely happy with these extension stems. Every component is more robust in material than what I found to be the norm, and these come with the valve components on the male end. Of course, this valve is critical in the event that you want the extension stem to remain on the tire after removal from the air pump. The valve is not necessary for my particular application, but the components are easily removed.
