While this does add to the tool’s strength and durability, the handles are not made of wood like in the past; instead, they’re crafted from some type of plastic fiber. Despite being strong, this material can be a bit fragile. If you look at other reviews on Amazon, there are cases where the handle simply breaks.In practice, both hammers are comfortable to use and perform their tasks well. The smaller hammer is great for driving in small nails, removing them, hanging frames, and handling other light tasks. What I particularly liked is that it feels good in the hand and doesn’t require significant effort. Both hammers get the job done. The larger one is quite tall, and longer than I expected. It is a little akward to get used to because of how long it is, but it is very durable and gets the job done. The little one is easier to use. Both have great grips and do exactly what they are designed to do, be a hammer!
