Work as intended . Not very accurate. Probe wire very short

Got these to install in a furnace I'm building. I wasn't paying attention to the fact that they require being wires to an external power source. It wasn't obvious from the description, either. There were no instructions with these, so I had to pull the specs up on the listing to find out they require a 12 volt power supply. Not really a problem, but I kinda hoped I could get away with putting in an on board battery. I'll think about updating the rating if I am super impressed with these once I install one.

I use this all the time. It is very accurate & stable on a custom solar spectrometer I am building.I need this to monitor the temperature inside and outside of the spectrometer's enclosure.

I drive a emergency services communication van (ARES). I have a 200 ah LiFePo4 battery and the normal vehicle battery. I have a 250 amp transfer relay between the two. Most folks use a DC-DC charger to prevent overloading the alternator. I picked this item and put the sensor on my alternator.I figure monitoring directly for signs of stress is more important. It's a lot cheaper, too!

I stripped the connector off the end of the probe only to discover a twisted pair of wires in both units. This will not read accurately. At this point I'm going to spend the extra money and goto digikey as none of these cheap Chinese meters are worth it.

This is a very cheap item, thermal couples of the same make model do not read the same switch them out still each meter reads the same regardless on the probe that I put on we cannot calibrate these display meters for the pro that were using your money and buy one at the little bit more expensive that you can calibrate is not worth your money
