So I purchased this tub stopper not knowing what to expect.... But I love it!! When the water is pouring out, you do have to hold it down so it doesn't move, the water makes it heavy enough to stay down.. Surely, it keeps the water in the tub and you can enjoy a wonderful bath!!! Thank you!!!

We were frustrated that the shower drain released a lousy odor, stinking the whole bathroom. Vinegar and baking soda only work for a short time, but this item did the job when the drain hole was covered. No more unpleasant odor!

I bought this for the 3 compartment sink at work that had a leak that was driving me nuts. I couldn't find a plug locally that was big enough to cover the drain, they all missed the mark by just a fraction of an inch. This one more than covered the drain, it has room to spare. I do have to be careful not to put something flat down on the bottom of the sink though. the suction isn't strong enough to hold it down if something bumps the edge.It will work until management can figure out how to fix a sink.

I have a very old tub. Think... probably original from the 1970's. It's got one of those "Switch to bath by flicking the switch on the overflow plate" type things. Well, as you can imagine, it holds the water... but only for a moment. It starts to drain quickly. So I needed something as an extra hold and this works.

Unfortunately this only held the water in the shower for about 2 minutes.

This description is not correct "One side is designed with strong suction to attach well to the sink, floor or bathtub, and the other side is designed with a frosted surface to prevent slipping" There was no suction and no frosted surface on any side. The one I received both sides were smoot and slippery so it doesn't stick to the drain on the floor. Very disappointed!

This did the trick! There was a definite sewer smell coming up from the floor drain in the basement, it is important to always dump 2 full buckets of water down the drain because drains have a u type area that water can sometimes drain out of below the floor or concrete.. if that is not kept up with dumping water down there, then the P-trap can cause some sewer smells to enter into your basement. these floor Drain covers.. really really work.. no more can we smell the sewer smell .. so please remember yourselves.. to always dump water down drains - including the sinks, bathtubs, showers, and any other p-trap in your homes. The P traps how they are built is how those smells when the water in the P-trap is low.. enter into your home.. and causes a foul smell. These covers work truly well to keep the smell down or hardly noticeable though.. I need to do a test in case there were a water break in the basement that the water would get underneath this cover and go down the drain. Please don't think it will yourself, you would have to give that a try yourself to ensure the water definitely will run down the drain if there were a water break in your home.. so do a test for that.. But if you want to take the sewer smell you may be getting out of the basement area.. give this a try. Hope it works for you .. it is working for us.
