I bought these to replace the springs on my old maytag washing machine. They are priced good and seem strong enough to not have to worry about them breaking. I really only needed one but the 2 pack was only $2 more. They worked fine for replacing the washing machine springs if that's what you intend to use them for.

There is often nothing that does quite what these do. When you need to pull a tensioner spring, this will probably do the job better than any cobbled together alternative. They are not huge, so if you are pulling something massive, search for larger, but, they are infinitely better than trying to hold the curved end of a spring with vice grips. They're reasonably priced, which is good for a DIYer that may not use them often. They are a good value. Only time will tell if they can withstand some abuse, but then, there are two of them. So...there's that.

This is a very good product. It is strong and does the job. I used it when I installed a stronger kick stand spring on my yamaha tenere. Good value for the money as it comes with two in one pack.

Used these on the exhaust springs on an ATV. In the past, I've struggled with pliers and lock grips to get these springs on and off and it took for ever (and some busted up knuckles). These worked much much better. On and off first try, no busted knuckles.

Just beware that these aren't heavy duty. Needed to pull a spring and broke two of them... Did buy two more, and finally got it. Price is right... I guess.

I bought this to change exhaust gasket in my side by side. Works well. Good value. You can perform the same task with a piece of rope but this tool makes it easier..

I use this tool for removing springs in hard to reach places on snowblowers. Seemed to work well the first time I used it.
