Took about 30 minutes total all you need is a hairdryer get the corner nice and hot and then use their picking tools to get the glass pieces out scrape all the old adhesive off gently but thoroughly, Drop in new lens get it nice and hot again and press down firmly with your thumb use their rag, clean up the surfaces and you’re done. I would buy a air can if I was doing it again because a little piece of dust was left on the lens of the camera and now you can see it when you turn the camera on, a little dark spot.

My boyfriend accidentally sat on my son’s iPhone XR and cracked the back camera glass. He only uses the phone to play on at home. When I called for quotes they either weren’t sure they could find the part or it would be $80. I decided to check on Amazon and see if I could replace it myself. It came today and I did it in less than 20 min. The camera works fine.

Excellent replacement for the iPhone XR camera glass. The adhesion is sticky and won't come apart once installed. The tools are cheap plastic and a little hard to use, but they do the trick. I would recommend buying a separate (higher grade) X-acto knife and a small metal pick to breakup any shards you cant get with the tweezers.

I read the mixed reviews and ordered anyway since it was inexpensive. Easy to install. The part that does take time and where you need to be careful is taking off the old lens. The new lens has a strip to remove to expose the adhesive (probably an error made by some other reviewer). The directions reference other iPhone models but didn’t say this doesn’t work for the Xr. Cheap fix, just requires some patience and attention to detail.

The actual effort to replace was a bit difficult but eventually Was complete took about 45 minutes to an hour.After about two weeks was broken once again, and I noticed the glass was a thin cheaper glass. Now they replacement glasses broke about another month later I think I'm gonna just go get it professionally repaired because my camera is now damaged because of the glass so it's up to you if you will choose this product that's all I can say

It was hard to remove the old one and I thought it came with the glass to go on top but it didn’t. Other than that it was a perfect fit!

The product came with everything I needed, as well as clear instructions. For a few dollars I saved having to buy a new iPhone. I used this to replace the lens cover, and bought a solid case to cover up the cracks in the back glass. Fortunately there was no damage to the front screen. The camera works perfectly, the phone looks good.

Even though the phone I have is the same model as described in the product description, the provided lenses do not match the phone's original lenses in size and diameter. The thickness of the lenses is significantly thinner, and they appear more like lens protectors than replacement lenses.
