Was expecting stainless steel, but these are plastic, strong plastic. They fit the spigot handle very well and keep the spigots from being tampered with. I recommend these valve lockout and safety padlocks.

I’ve caught folks on my security cameras using my exterior water faucet on a regular basis. There was a small spike in my water usage so this helps keep folks from infringing on my utilities without asking me for permission.

I use these for my tenants laundry room to turn off hot and cold water on laundry machines and open it on the weekend only. These locks are so easy to use and does a GREAT JOB. I will 100% recommend this product. Also the greatest price for type of item.
