I use them in my shop on the lathe and mill. They work great and I like the old school look and feel. No leaks is a plus.

There is no gasket or o-ring in the lid. I will use this in a service truck and expect it to leak without this feature, as others have in the past.

Not easy to pump

These oil cans are great for applying lubricants to all sorts of tools and equipment. For example, one of the purposes I regularly use them for is to apply oil to the bars of my hedge trimmers. They allow easy application of precise amounts of oil to just the teeth and other wear points of the trimmers without getting the oil everywhere.Of course, the thing about items like this is: how long will they last? I had an almost identical can that didn't last very long at all. After only a few uses it refused to pump any longer. That one had a metal pump body, so I would have expected the life to be long. The pump bodies on these USUNRISE cans are plastic construction, so time will tell how they will hold up. Maybe since the metal one didn't last long the plastic ones WILL, though. So here's to hoping they have a long life. Not that they are expensive to replace, because they are reasonably priced in my opinion, but because I'd prefer not to be without the use of one again for a long time. The pair come with 3 different spouts for applying the oil. There are two straight spouts: one with a metal body and one plastic, although they both have nice brass tips. The third spout is a flexible all-plastic one for applying oil to hard-to reach areas, or to get down into areas that would otherwise force you to tip the can to such a degree that the dip-tube would no longer be in the oil. Speaking of dip tubes, they are made of plastic as well, with screens at the bottom to filter out larger particles that could foul the pumps. All in all, a good price for this pair. The advantage of having two instead of just one is that you can use two different viscosities of oil available for pumping at the same time. Seems to be a good buy, and so far working fine.

Metal can (2 1/2-inch diameter main body) measures at 3-inches, with trigger cap installed, tool stands 5-inches tall. Removable 9 1/2-inch flexible spout with plastic tip, 3-inch hard plastic, and 3-inch rigid metal spouts with brass tips are provided. I measured single can max capacity at 6 fluid ounces. U.S. Quarter Dollar and ruler are shown for sizing comparison.I like the provided variety of spouts, especially the long-reach flexible type. I will leave this in a tip-up configuration to help prevent oil drips. Squirt pump body is hard plastic with a draw tube that has a fairly large opening gross-grid particle screen at the bottom.I’ll keep one on the shop bench, and the other I’m adding to my chain saw kit as an accessory oiler for tough cutting jobs where extra lubrication is needed. At about 6 bucks apiece (at time of writing), I think these are a good value. Thanks for indicating if you’ve found my photos and comments helpful in your consideration of this item.

I purchased these so I can fill them up with cans of WD-40 that didn't spray anymore but still had fluid in them. These leak and they have also lost their ability to pump out the fluid, right out of the box. I guess you get what you paid for. Looking for a better option.
