They are great nesting dolls for crafting with kids and adults. All the dolls fit very tight and hard to open and close. I rubbed some wax/candle around the rim and they open much easier.

Despite being full of sawdust, they need sanding. (When opening them sawdust got all over my desk) There are some rough spots, but more concerning is how difficult they are to get apart. One has a small hole in the top.

I didn’t have high expectations for the price. Overall they are fine. They are insanely difficult to open (one set I haven’t managed to open yet) and need to be sanded. Once they are sanded smooth (and to loosen the seal) they work for what I wanted

These dolls are made well, tight fitting and sanded & ready to be painted. There are 2 sets. Nice size. I would buy again as they are well made.

I rarely write a bad review but truly feel that this one is warranted. I was excited to have found a pair of nesting dolls as my daughter wanted to paint a set as a special craft activity and I was going to paint the other set along with her. One of the sets in the pair was cracked in two places upon arrival (they came in a sturdy box so I doubt this happened during the shipping and delivery process). With both sets it was very difficult to pull the dolls apart. The quality of the wood was good and it was nice and smooth so I did give the product one star for that. I'm returning this product and purchasing another set made by a different company so fingers crossed we'll have better luck with this product!

These unfinished nesting dolls were perfect for the project I needed them for. My kids wanted to make a custom set. They both love them! They fit together well and are well made. Acrylic paint worked perfectly on them with a top coat of modge podge. These are perfect for kids to work with or even adults!
