I got this to make a rug. I've found so many patterns and thought the shimmery silver would be perfect. Unfortunately it took over 2 months to receive. I do love the color and the thread shimmers in the light. I can't wait to start my project.

I love, love, love yarn. I am an avid crocheter who loves to use a variety of yarns for purses, shirts, ponchos, and blankets. This Stensy Ribbon yarn is beautiful because it sparkles. I chose the mustard sparkle color. It resembles more of a light gold color than mustard. Regardless of the color, polypropylene feels tough but flexible. What I love most is that it looks and feels like tennis shoestrings.I crocheted a chain to test the stretch of the yarn, and I was impressed with it. The tighter you crochet (or knit) with a medium-sized hook, the smaller the gap between the stitches.I plan to make a purse from this sturdy yarn because it will not stretch out of shape. I may or may not sow in a cloth lining, but the shoestring yarn is thick enough to thread if I do.While this yarn may not suit clothing, it is helpful for handbags, beach bags, and head and arm covers for sofas and recliners.

I bought these skeins for some crochet projects and did not really have fun working with it. The cord is waxy and stiff, which is probably super great for other projects, but definitely took a toll on my guiding finger. It'll be a while before I figure out how to use up the other skein! Might just use it for tying stuff up while camping honestly, haha.
