Really like this engine hoist. Couple minor issues. Hydraulic ram slowly loses pressure over night so you need to not suspend things overnight. Front wheels control great with weight on them so I’d recommend putting auto bearing grease on the svivels and small wheel bearing services to help it roll around better but for the money, works great.

Too much of a hassle to send back or I would.Parts were loosely packaged, most parts were received with damaged paint.Fasteners were loose throughout the packaging. Fasteners were cheaply made. I replaced most with my own, true grade 8 bolts.Instructions consist of a small drawing that’s nearly impossible to read. Parts such as pins ands bolts are mislabeled on the drawing making assembly frustrating. For most of the assembly I referenced the Amazon photos.As far as function, the lift seems to work however I do not have the confidence in this lift. I won’t use it to remove a functional motor until after a few more test lifts.If returning something of this size was less of a hassle I would send it back.If you need a cheap disposable lift, I still wouldn’t recommend this one.

The paint is cheap. The supports that go from the bottom to the top are very thin and just flap. The handle cuts are not very good. They send the lowest grade hardware to assemble.

Works good.....Easy to put together. The removable clips that hold the chain on the balancer look a little shady to me.

The powder coating and welding are low quality. The bolts are so soft that they snap even when using hand tools if you try to tighten them at all, it didn’t come with any lock washers which is kind of ridiculous, the instructions are virtually nonexistent and no matter how I assemble it the leg holes don’t lineup unless you’re able to lift the back end of the hoist about an inch. The harbor freight ones are way nicer — which is really saying something

It's missing hardware and the instructions are minimal. I really just need all the hardware I can figure out how to get it together from there.

only a few missing fasteners, was very cheap, included jackscrew load balancer and seems to be functioning perfectly

Assemble the engine picker. Right way noticed the bottom A-Frame was not level. It rocks unstable, installed the wheels in the proper position and no change. After full assembly you can tell that something is bent or manufactured wrong.
