If you are debating whether or not to do it - DO IT. I have so much respect for this business and how much care and attention goes into the well-being of these little guys. I received 4 of each color, all still alive after being acclimated to my 10 gal for 2-3 hours according to the water parameters they provided in the box. They had one extra shrimp to account for DOA issues, but unfortunately he passed away. However, the rest of the shrimp are lovely, lively, and beautiful - one of them is berried! I could not recommended this business more and I am beyond happy with my purchase. THANK YOU SWIMMING CREATURES!!! :-)

Absolutely beautiful shrimp and even arrived with a few pregnant and a few babies swimming around! Unfortunately looks like a few passed away in shipping, but I wasn't interested in compensation since the ones that did arrive were perfectly healthy and absolutely beautiful, but I'm sure this is because I am all of the way in Texas. On top of that they began reproducing almost immediately and within a month 7 became 30, and now 30 has become probably over 80! The packaging was done perfectly and there was absolutely no signs of rough handling, so I think I just got poor luck due to travel time / weather but I absolutely do not regret making the decision to raise these fantastic pets! They are so surprisingly smart and just FILLED with personality. Better than any fish I've had, and if you get attached to one It'll really steal your heart, their faces are so cute!

I have ordered shrimp from here twice. Once when it was hot out and once now that it's cold. Each time all the shrimp arrived alive. Very well packaged. I did lose a couple each time in my tank in the first day or two unfortunately but I guess that's to be expected. The shrimp are colorful and a nice size.

I am so happy with the shrimp I received from this order. I was surprised how well they were packaged, I was sent an extra couple shrimp just in case, and was very satisfied with that. It's been a few days and they're all doing just fine. All of them are bright colors and healthy. It's so nice to find a good online service for shrimp for my tank. Most of the aquarium places I've gone to like to charge $4 to $9 per shrimp. I was able to get them for about $3 each through this company.

My shrimp all arrived alive, and even with swimming babies in the bag. Several were also berried, so looking forward to even more shrimp soon. I have ordered twice now, and the shrimp sent were a great variety of colors- I got reds both cherry and dark enough to be maybe bloody Mary's, both light and dark blue, lemon yellow, orange, some clear or almost clear, some with patterns and at least two so dark blue they look black. So, really happy happy about the variety of colors! I drip acclimated my shrimp and had zero issue with acclimation. Shrimp have all been happy and active in their tank. Excellent communication from the company with questions, and highly recommend ordering from them if you are looking for adding shrimp to your aquascape and tanks.

All arrived alive & 4 of them were pregnant!
I usually don’t write reviews but had to 5-star this one. Got 14 shrimp, a variety of colors, all alive and super active. When we added them to the tank, we noticed 3 tiny babies that had to have been born within the past few days. 3 of the adult shrimp are also pregnant. I wasn’t confident buying shrimp off Amazon, but I’m pleasantly surprised with what we got. Planning to order more next week!
How to Safely Acclimate Shrimp & Fish
Proper acclimation is essential for maintaining the health of your shrimp and fish. If a drip acclimation kit is unavailable, the following steps may be used.
1. Float the bag in the tank for 15 minutes. Ensure not to exceed this time for breathable fish bags.
2. Transfer the shrimp/fish to a small container, ensuring to remove any deceased ones.
3. Add 4 ounces of your aquarium water to the container. Repeat this process 2-3 times every 10 minutes.
4. Discard half of the water from the container and repeat step #3.
5. Carefully use a net to transfer the shrimp/fish to the aquarium.

In mail for 4 cold days and they were very active. Good selection of colors. Ordered 2 20 packs and only had 3 dead shrimp. I always use Seachem prime in tank and container the shrimp are in while slow drip acclimation. Seachem prime detoxifies water and almost always saves my shrimp.

The shrimp were beautiful and arrived all alive. I was so excited to try to grow shrimp. I acclimated the water, transferred water from my tank to the bag a few times. My water tested good. After a day I noticed a few died. I removed them and over the next few days they had all died. I'm so upset. Not sure what happened. Would like to try again but don't want them to die again.

Thought people might want to know how the shrimp survival rate was after some time. It has been a month since my order and here is the real world survival. I had some extra come in my order so at first I was really excited. I did have a few losses in the first couple days so dropped down to 18. After a month, I now have 14 survivors out of the original 20+ which I consider pretty good survival. I'd have given them 5 stars if I had a little higher survival rate but give them 4 stars and do recommend them. I'd just be prepared for a few losses so buy accordingly. I put 16 in my large tank and 6 in my small tank. I now have 10 in my large tank and 4 in my small tank. Sounds like a lot but I am probably going to add a few more to each.My observations: The yellow ones seem the most active and swim all over. The blue ones are smaller than others and harder to see. The red ones stand out the most. All are fun to watch and they do work picking hair algae off the glass which is a plus. They seem to like the live plants in my aquarium the best. My shrimps have grown quickly and are now 3/4" long with blue ones a little less and yellow ones a little more. I would order again and am debating ordering some of the other color shrimps to add to my 2 tanks.

I had bought 20 neocardina shrimp from another supplier and 17 died within 24 hours, because the seller kept giving me some back and forth in the communication, I decided to try another supplier and not ask I glad I did!I'm comparing everything to the first supplier in this review...The packaging, instead of a double bag packed with newspaper, swimming creatures puts the double bag inside a bubble wrap bag inside some safe insulation with a heat pack inside a durable box!The shipping, the other guy sent via USPS. I'm not dissng the mail people but they park the trucks for a long time while the mail person delivers to 3 blocks of houses, that's a long time to be sitting in an unheated truck.Swimming creatures sent overnight air through FedEx. Sure they might not be heated that will either but they don't cool down too much as they aren't sitting for that long.Quality, the other guy had twenty of the shrimp with multiple colors, but the colors were somewhat spotted.Swimming creatures are solid and bright colorsBottom line is pretty simple.If these guys don't multiply as much as they say they do, I'll be buying more from swimming creatures!

First: The customer service from this vendor is excellent. i would still continue to purchase from this vendor in the future.The shrimp arrived with roughly 9 DOA, but the vendor had provided extra for the DOA and reimbursed me for the remainder. The remainder of the shrimp passed away over the next 2 weeks, only 4 have survived of the original lot. This batch did not look too healthy upon arrival. This may have been a bad batch or transit conditions were not great. The vendor packages the shrimp as well as they can and these shrimp are sent across country. I have gotten excellent batches before from this vendor. This review is to say: Take pictures when you receive the shrimp and the vendor to make it right. Overall they sell good products, but not every shipment will make it.
