Great item, give it a day or two to stretch out before screwing any anchors in. Does a great job keep wind and rain out of our covered patio.

It is very thick material. Tarp like feel. So far no rips with crazy winds. Use for back small patio/deck for wind break. We House and feed a couple feral cats. We put their outdoor houses on porch and it stops the snow and wind. Kitty’s are much warmer.

The first year we are at our house during Christmas, the tree on our deck was blown over by the wind at least five or six times. The next year I was using a bungee cord or two to keep it upright. By putting this on the side of our house which the wind comes from has totally changed the climate on my deck.

These are very nice looking and the window part of the plastic is super clear. However, if you get any kind of wind gusts in your area over 20 mph, the side grommets will not hold up. Actually, that is one of the biggest flaws of these, only two side grommets. I bought these to close in my pergola over the winter. They tore out in one night of gusts around 25 mph. Gusts, not continuous wind. If you live anywhere where that happens, I would recommend putting your money towards something stronger.

The panels are almost 2 feet shorter than what is listed on the product description. This is unacceptable. Now it won’t cover the area we measured. This is probably a tactic to sell more.

What do I wish I had noticed? That there are ZERO grommets in the clear section of these tarps. I had been looking at so many tarps (clear included) and they ALL had grommets running the entire perimeter of the tarp, and after a while, they all looked alike, so I didn't even notice they were missing. That part is MY fault, but I wonder, HOW, exactly are these tarps to be connected to each other in the clear section so that they won't blow open? You can only connect them at two points at the top and bottom, leaving a gaping hole five feet long on both sides to catch the wind, snow, rain and pollen can get in quite easily. Kinda defeats the purpose.UPDATE: Until I tried to install the panel, I was willing to go to the expense of putting on grommets. I had ordered a pair of 8'x8 and two 7'x8'. I only opened one of the 7'x8' panels and even though I thought I could work with it. I know things are expensive, but if the company is going cut them to the nth of an inch, CUT THEM STRAIGHT, or add a couple of inches so we can make the adjustment!!! I'm missing over an inch on the lower section, and there's NO WAY I will be able to work with these.
