These replacement pads for our power mop are much more absorbent than the factory pads due to the shredded construction of these compared to the flat construction of the factory pads. However, the reason they are really good but not perfect is due to how they connect to the mop base. The width of the strips that attach to the velcro strips of the mop are not quite aligned and thusly the pad can be loose at times whereas the factory pads are always a perfect fit. We have even used these on the dry Swiffer and these pads pick up dog hair and other debris really well, but the same problem of alignment of the velcro is still a problem on the dry Swiffer as well.
