These are a little longer than I was hoping, but they work. The edges could be a little more smooth in my opinion as well. However, overall - they are workable spoons. They are what I would call a medium weight. Washed up nicely in the dishwasher - they report to be stainless steel and they look like that to me. Time will tell! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I like the fact that they weren't so long, I ordered another set a while back and the handles were super long and they were too wide too comfortably fit in my mouth. I just wanted to give a big thumbs up for these for size, sturdiness, shape and overall quality in my opinion.
