My wire fence was detaching from weathered wooden posts. It was held on by staples. These fasteners suceeded in maintaining a firm attachment to the weathered wood. Four stars ony because I prefer all stainless fasteners for everything.

Purpose for Product: This time these fence staples will be used to affix hardware cloth to the door of our new wood storage shed. The wire is necessary to keep the mice and other critters from taking up residency.Product Inspection: Very fragile plastic box containing 100 fence staples, screws are 1.7" long. The screw points are sharp as are the slash blade point helper. Screws are magnetic, the 8mm bit is magnet loaded. The staple points are very sharp.Product Performance: Installed these fence staples to attach hardware cloth to the wooden door frame see photos. The sharp slash point easily penetrated the wood and secured the metal. Just to check staples I bent one, it was tough to bend but once the tab straightened, it snapped and broke. Don't know this is bad because the effort to to bend the tab is significant.Summary: While this use for the staples is not technically "fencing" the staples performed well and unless the little mice have an impact driver, they are not getting in. Pricing is comparable to similar products.

I built a fence around my pear trees and blueberry bushes this year to help keep the deer from getting more of my fruit that I do (still have to figure out the squirrels an birds). Using these screw clamps to attach the wire fence to treated lumber made the job quick and easy. I actually use this brand at $0.33/connector and one other, which actually worked marginally better but cost at $0.36/connector. I think both versions will do a fine job.

Great staples - used to repair a garden fence using steel wire mesh panels. No problem at all attaching these into a variety of wood post types, including oak, cedar and big box store 4x4 posts. With harder woods it helps to drill a pilot hole but not absolutely necessary.Pulled a few out and placed in different spots with no issues.

Summary: Need to move a fence post, so while it's apart, replacing some of the original staples with these reusable screw based ones. These are stainless steel plates, a clear rubber washer, and coated screws.Observations: DABOLANG offers only 6 products, very much a new, now-specialty manufacturer.Recommendation: A brief search leads me to believe that "Cat's Claw Fasteners" are the original implementation of this style of fastener. From a cost perspective the CC's are $0.41/each, and these by DABOLANG are $0.36/each set. DABOLANG also offers the same setup but with full stainless fasteners, ideal for harsh environments (such as oceanfront).Conclusion: At current price, rating these 4-stars (non-specialty), and I would recommend the highly rated original version instead.
