I use them when I am making my ceramic charms! I will put a paintbrush in the top of the U, and then twist the two prongs together to make a little loop. I then stick that into my ceramic pieces before firing, and it turns out perfect! My only complaint is the wire gets a little grey and matte, but it's worth the trade off!

I use these often for pottery ornaments and jewelry. They work great.

I bought these specifically for pottery ornaments that I wanted to glaze both sides. Something happened with my manual kiln sitter that failed so my cone 6 glaze fire way over fired. My witness cone was a puddle on the shelf, my thick rods bent, and even the small stilts I put on top of the kiln furniture to support my rods melted. My glaze colors fired out and cracked and even some clay bubbled. However my ornaments were still hanging! This wire, though blackened some, held up really well and I will definitely buy again in the future!

I used these wires on my ceramic pieces. They are easy to cut shorter and can be bent easily with a jewelry plyer

I use these all the time in the studio when showing folks how to make ornaments from clay. My kiln goes to a cone 6 for the ornaments.
