These very small swabs are great at cleaning tight places. I'm using them for my sewing machine repair. They're much smaller than regular cotton swabs (q-tips) and have less swabbing material on the tip. This lets you get into smaller places.The tips of the green swabs are about 1/8" inch, while the pink are just a tad longer (see the pictures.) The green tips are slightly wider, maybe not quite 2/16", and the pink is about 1/16".They may be a little costly because I'll be using many of them, but I think, in the end, they will be worth it.They do a wonderful job picking up the grime leftover from using regular swabs and cotton pads with rubbing alcohol. I'm very pleased I bought them!

What I really like about these is that they can be used to take out all the fluff under the needle plate without damaging anything. They really work well.

Many problems can be solved or avoided completely by regular cleaning of your sewing machines and these are terrific! Small enough to get into tight spots and you can put several in your tool area so you always have some with you & some to share. I was serging a flannel strip quilt and my serger needed to be cleaned & oiled every day at a 3-day quilt retreat. Flannel is pretty linty and these made short work of all the spots you need to clean on a 4-thread serger. Lots of spots for lint to hide but these little guys found it!

They work great grabbing the dust and lint that can't reach otherwise then I use the vacuum to suck if off the cleaning tip. Best cleaning tool I've found for sewing machine.

The value was great. Enough pieces to use when more is needed. It’s a great tool to use to get into those tight areas under the pressure foot and bobbin area to remove lint and dust.
