I bought this back a few months ago and never any need to use it. Well in the last week I have used it to change the oil in my Troy-Bilt Walk behind trimmer, change the oil in my Honda push mower and to remove some overfill from a new riding mower I just had delivered which was overfilled by about 6 ounces. Worked great on all 3 machines and has already paid for itself over and over. I'm going to buy another as a spare. 5 stars

While filling oil in a car its very easy to overfill. Then it becomes a problem to drain the excess oil. What I di was to insert this syringe and attached it to a 1/4 INCH plastic pipe used for reverse osmosis units. I was able to lower the oil level easily by suction. The result was a smoother engine and better fuel mileage. I can also use this to drain the differential fluid without opening the seized drain nut.

I needed this tool to change the oil in my Honda lawn mower. It did a fantastic job sucking all the oil out of the oil pan with no mess.

Yes, I did a stupid thing and poured windshield fluid in the radiator overflow tank. It happens.The syringe is nice and solid, but the tubes are less than ideal. It could not reach the bottom of the overflow tank. Manufacturer, if you read reviews, please add some flexible tubing in the package, about 3 feet.With the syringe, I was able to easily get some decent siphon action going, as I am not partial to the taste of windshield fluid taste, not to mention the methanol part;)

Used it to get the gas out of my mower for the winter. Didn’t work. It pulled some gas out into the main tube, but the gas ran out of the straw as quickly as it went in. It made a mess and was totally worthless. Save your money.

Purchased for sucking power steering fluid (PSF) out. I was amazed! This device works well. Comes with multiple tube and parts for use. Has double seal rings. Disassembles easily for cleaning. The seal rings are SO tight, it’s actually pretty hard to pull and push the plunger handle. Don’t know yet how well it will stand up to various chemicals. Seems to have no problem with PSF.
