I have a few dozen bay lights to hang and needed various length hangar wires to get them all even from the ceiling. These worked great to custom build all the hanger wires in place while I was working up at the ceiling. Easy to crimp with hand tools and hold tightly.

These wire rope sleeves seem to be well-made and are very strong once crimped. The M3 size fits 1/8-inch stainless wire rope. You'll need a crimp tool that is either hydraulic or has long handles for plenty of leverage, as these require significant force to crimp.An adjustable crimp tool can be helpful to get the crimp exactly right. The first tool I tried wasn't adjustable, left these fitting a bit loose. Using an adjustable tool, I was able to get perfect crimps every time. There are crimp tools made specifically for these sleeves, but lug crimping tools will work as well.Good value for the money, these are a good deal in the 200 pack.

Purpose for Product: Securing small cable to turnbuckle for a gate support system.Product Inspection: Clear plastic resealable bag containing 200 pcs of M3 aluminum cable crimping sleeves. They appear consistently uniform in manufacturing with NO burring or misshapen pieces. Note: These are made of aluminum despite the 304 stainless steel description in the advertising photo.Product Performance: Currently installing a gate support system that has wire cable and turnbuckles for tightening to support. Installed a sleeve on the wire and clamped with a hydraulic crimper.Summary: Crimping sleeve worked as needed to secure the cable in place. Found no defects.

Nothing wrong with these aluminum, double-barrrel sleeves. I got them for use with 1/8" steel rope and they are just the right size. I typically only use one sleeve per loop but with this many I can use two sleeves on each loop for better security.

I waited patiently for these to arrive and used four of them within an hour. I am pleased with them so far because they were easy to use and the wire inserted without any issues. They look to be well made and they crimped onto my wire fine. I wouldn't hesitate to order more in the future.
