Installing the pegboard became a challenge because the lock clicks on the back side betweent the spacer and the wall did not stay on the end of the screw. I had to remove the pegboard more than once during the installation because one, usually more, lock clips fell off.After the screws are installed, the spacing away from the wall is good and the pegboard is secure - as long as the screws are secured into a wall stud.If the lock clips worked like they should and didn't fall off during installation, they would get a 4-5 star rating.

The lock clips won't stay on the screws, that makes for a very frustrating installation. I tried hammering them flat and it helped a little but they still fell off quickly followed by the spacer. It's not too bad on the edges if you have access to them but in the middle if one falls off you have to start over again. Another issue is the screws that are provided. They need to be self tapping torx head. It's almost impossible to start them into a stud without a pilot hole which would add an extremely complicated step to an already difficult process
