Recommend. GM should really have a recall on these screens that just self-destruct on their own after a few years. Cadillac wanted $1700'ish for the repair. Fixed with this screen and some YOUTUBE videos on line. You need the correct socket wrenches - believe it was 7 & 9mm sockets, screwdriver and a few bowls for the screws so you do not lose them during the process.Your basically going to disconnect and pull apart your entire center of your dash. It is a bit of work and took me 3.5 hours round trip (taking apart and putting back together). Most difficult part is taking apart the electronics section of the radio / screen part. All screws but you need to find them all and there are a few that are slightly hidden.My only advice - do not attempt to do this if you are in a rush. You need 3-5 hours, and you must take your time or you're going to break something. I have never done this before, but I was successful but almost gave up a few times.The screen I received is beautiful and worked perfectly. I have had it in my girlfriend's car now for 2 months and its working great and she loves it. No need to "trade in" the car now LOL....

After spending $1600 from dealership about 4yrs ago to replace the whole system due to cracked non functional screen for it to not work again. No cracks this time, unresponsive screen. We ordered the replacement screen , you tubed how to replace it. Within a fews hours, screen and all functions working! Best $30.00 I ever spent! After months going without being able to use all the features super happy with this product.

A little tedious to replace but it saved me $1K to get fixed through a dealership. Only a week since replacing it but works great so far. Just like new.

Just installed my new screen. It took a while as I'm not mechanically inclined and it was kind of a backward puzzle figuring out where all the screws went back to lol. With my elderly dad's help we did it! And it works! Now I just have to put the car back together... Haha

I got it for my Cadillac Escalade even the listing doesn’t mention Escalade it works fine and it’s easy to install you need to focus a little bit and you can get it done in less than an hour
