This stool has proved to be more convenient than I had expected. Originally bought it to have the comfort of sitting down (I have knee problems), without having to lug around a folding chair. Well it is not only easy to open & close, takes my weight, looks cool, is light weight, but it fits inside my purse without a problem. I have used it to view a local parade as well as at a get together in which a large chair would have taken up too much space. Even though I have mobility issues (due to my knees) this little gem allows me to remain in the thick of things. If I need to rest I just pop open the stool.One of my friends, who has no problems standing, saw me using it, tried it for herself and then asked where I got it. She wants to use it for hiking. The square seat & the color are both pluses. At a family gathering I noticed someone had moved it. Turned out that my young nieces had taken it to use as a table for a card game. As time progresses this little stool is getting used more & more. Am thinking about buying them for Christmas gifts.

Used this at a local beach music festival where no chairs were allowed. I've had 2 knee replacements, so sitting on the ground is pretty difficult. This was perfect. It was easy to carry with the adjustable strap, it was easy to open and close. I'm 255lbs, and it had no problems holding me, it felt sturdy. I did only use this for 30mins at a time to give my back a break, and I didn't move a lot on it, but it felt safe. It's design and function were simple. It was a very comfortable height to sit at. Got tons of compliments

It seemed pretty good but it fell out of my truck and forgot I it. I ran it over by mistake. Never even got to use it. So I'm sure it was fine but you shouldn't run it over.

So this still was amazing, it was light enough to carry over my shoulder in a compact form, and then quickly set it up for a quick sit down. It went through Paris museums, the islands of Greece, Museums and streets all over Italy and even waiting for an elevator many times in hotel lobbies, and cruise ship lobbies. Seriously for someone who has illness or pain and do not have the ability to stand for for long periods of time due to body pains - this is a travel MUST HAVE. I am so so happy I purchased this chair, I feel like it needs to go on a display shelf at home now with the souvenirs purchased and one of the treasures.

Hopefully this brand lasts longer than the last one . I used it about 20 times and one day in the cold weather, it just collapsed into pieces

Don't buy this. This stool is dangerous because it's not as strong as the product description says it is. It says the stool has a 600 pound weight limit. I weigh 420 pounds, and I was sitting on the stool with my feet firmly planted on the floor (so my full weight was not even on the stool) when the stool broke and collapsed under me. I landed on the floor hard and was lucky not to have suffered any serious injury. Don't buy this.

It is a wonderful invention as it can be folded up and carried very easily. It is not heavy and can be unfolded in an instant to allow a grown man to sit down and rest while walking in a tourist area or standing in line for a long time. what a great tool !!!!
