Note: the SD card can be used only in one car, once it is installed to the navigation system for the first time, it will be locked with cars VIN.
Navigation system SD cards cannot be used/switched from one vehicle to another.
Simplicity at its finest, this navigation SD card requires no complex setup. Simply insert it into your vehicle's navigation system, and you're ready to go.(**Please ensure you insert the card before switching on the engine.)
Each map is built upon an initial foundational database, and subsequent updates are made on top of this base every year.
The database for this map is from 2021, hence some cards may display that particular database year.
However, the navigation card's map is updated to Q2 2024.

I tried other cards that did not work in a 2025 CX-30. This one worked flawlessly. It was easy to install and was recognized right away.

2025 CX-50 Perferred owner. The SD reader is in the center storage area. There's a plastic cover you have to open, and insert the card. I inserted it with engine off. After starting the engine I pressed the Nav and worked without an issue. IMHO, money well spent. It even tells you the speed limit in the Guage cluster. It's not upgradeable, but how often do roads change?

For me it only shows the road speed limits and the little cool red line when you go over the speed limit. No signs recognition unfortunately, but for the money it's ok I guess. The maps I personally don't care since I use the one on my smartphone.

Popped this sucker in to my 2025 CX-50 Hybrid, and maps showed up as soon as I pulled up NAV! Sooo happy that I didn’t go to the dealer and purchase from them :)

Worked well in My 2025 cx-30, not as good as an original maps but for the money it is good, will have to buy a new one every year as there are no updates with this card
