Very cheaply made but hopefully will hold up. Great tool to help with hand eye coordination

It’s a great concept and a fun way to practice ping pong indoors. The adjustable, lightweight string attached to the ball provides a decent simulation of real play, and it likely helps with reflexes and hand-eye coordination. Plus, it’s easy to set up and can be placed on a doorframe or a beam (though a beam is more practical). It opens wide enough to fit my beam, which is almost 13", and I didn’t even need to use the rubber band to keep it in place—it stays secure on its own. I do find it a bit more difficult to play when I attach it to the door, though, since my body gets too close to the surrounding wall. That said, the product feels more like a toy than a serious training tool. The paddles are very basic and included primarily for users who don’t already have their own. They’re fine for casual fun, but I’d definitely recommend using your own paddles if you’re trying to improve your skills. The overall build of the toy is flimsy, so you’ll need to be careful with it. If you’re too rough, it might not hold up well over time. The adjustable string is a nice feature for controlling the ball’s height during practice. While the string is thin, it helps keep the setup light and mimics real-life play.Overall, I think it’s a great concept, if you’re careful with it, it can be a fun and useful way to practice. However, I’d love to see improvements in durability and quality, particularly in the overall build. It might also be worth considering reducing the paddles to just one and using that extra budget to enhance other parts of the set.

I have a 11yo with Down syndrome whom I got this for. He loved it! It definitely works on his hand eye coordination and to get him moving. I placed it on our double doorway, which gave us plenty of room to play with it. We both got to hit it back and forth as it comes with 2 paddles. We had a lot of fun! There are plastic clasps with grips held together with a large rubber band. The plastic is pretty thin, so the durability is questionable. Although it might have to be thin so you can pull it apart to fit over the door trim. Putting it up is easier than taking it down as the plastic clasps rotated so they got stuck. There’s a knob that you turn to make the height adjustable, which I liked. My son did hit the ball so that it came undone. It was easy to rethread and tie it double so that it will stay. I might even put some glue on the knot to help avoiding it becoming undone again. They do give you 5 additional balls, although I’m not sure how to replace the balls as I didn’t see instructions anywhere.

This paddle ball set if a big hit with my grandkids. They love being able to use something so active inside during the cold winter months. I did find that these paddle balls are not very durable. One has lost its elastic string completely, and one had the ball pop off the string. I was able to repair them and have added a dot of good glue, but I can't in good conscience give this five stars because of that. Nonetheless, we've all enjoyed these.

We have this hanging between our dining room and kitchen. It's a little high for our smallest kid, but it's fine for our 6 year old. We have high ceilings, so that's partly our problem. If you have lower ceilings, the height can be adjusted. The paddles are pretty basic, but this is mostly for our kids to work on their hand eye coordination. Other than that, it stores really well.

Clunky. The paddles are a little on the cheap side. Doesn't stick to the door that we'll.

I really like this idea, hang a ping pong ball and practice your swing and coordination. I think they could have used stronger materials for the string, but for the price it's decent. It clamps to the wall with a normal rubber band holding it tight and so I worry that it will need changing out frequently. It does come with extra string and rubber band which is great. Easy to setup and play. As long as kids aren't too rough on it, it works great. I wish the materials were more durable so it would last longer, but it is at a good price point.
