I read other reviews that knock this product for being "too small", but those are reviewers who failed to read the specs. This product is exactly on spec and works as advertised.I used it for splicing a 1/16th inch throttle cable on my lawnmower. So far its working ok. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is the use of phillips head tightening screws. The screws need to be very tight in order to prevent slippage, but they are very small so its difficult to get them tight enough without stripping the head. The designers should have understood this and used a hex or star type of adjustment screw that will tighten without stripping.

Ordered these thinking they would be useful for the small cables I use to hold open my gate but they are way too small to fit even the smallest cable you can normally buy from typical hardware stores. Not sure what type cable they were intended for but these certainly wont fit any small cable I have ever seen.
