I bought these binoculars for a limited use event. Price point was great, so I wasn't expecting Vortex build quality. What I was expecting was the rated magnification.I've worked in air traffic control for over 30 years. I've used 10X50 binoculars on a nearly daily basis throughout my career. When i took these out of the box, the magnification level was unfortunately very familiar. Just to be sure, I took them to work and compared them to the Steiner 10X50 binoculars in the tower. Magnification was an exact match.For 10X50 binoculars, they weren't bad for the price. They also weren't 20X50.

liked the colour but did not get to use the binoculars as they were broken in the package they came in. not sure if they broke during shipment or they were packed broken because packaging was perfectly intact
