Now this was a super pleasant surprise. I own many kalimba’s and play a lot. This kalimba has the finest keys out of all of my kalimbas; they are supersoft and the sound is amazing, up to the highest tones. The design is lovely. It comes with a crafty set; you can add little screws for the chain and decoration to your kalimba. It is quite heavy, but still ok. Accessories include all you may(or may not) need and are of great quality. Big recommendation from me!

Many kalimbas arrived out of whack. This could do with some 'fine' tuning; but for me, a novice. It's good. Play it right out of the box. Lovely to look at, feels good in my hands, all around very happy with my purchase. Not impressed with the accompanying book, I don't read the language the majority of it is printed in. I suppose I should detract a star for that; but I LIKE this kalimba.

I have numerous kalimbas by many big names (LingTing, Hluru, Seeds, Chill Angels, Moozica, etc.). I like to collect kalimbas so I took a chance on this. For a less expensive 21 key kalimba, I am very impressed. It produces good sound. There are no dead or stiff tines. The tines are comfortable to pluck and engraved with both letters and numbers. The kalimba is prettier than the picture. Be aware though that the acrylic is transparent. Some of the pictures make it look like it is purple, but those pictures were obviously shot in front of a purple background. The second picture down is accurate to how it looks. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

The website the booklet takes ya to is a little sketchy. Some of the keys are also really right. Sounds ok. Have not tuned it. Will update after I tune.

Extremely disappointed with this kalimba. First the good points. The wood is very smooth with a glossy finish. Very nice. The kalimba is mostly in tune. It does have a nice tone. There were no dead tines. Now for the bad. The tines are thinner, and are not all properly aligned. Some are higher and lower than others. The resin portion is cloudy, not clear and transparent as it should be. What really upset me, is that the hard shell case is NOT the proper case for this kalimba. When I opened the box, the case was upside down. I've never seen that before. When I opened it, the kalimba fell out. This case is for a 17 key wood hollow box kalimba that is narrower at the top, and wider at the bottom. It is not for an almost square 21 key kalimba. It appears that this is a kalimba that was a return.

I got this as a present for my adult grandson. The included accessories are a nice addition. The tone of this kalimba is good and he will appreciate the four lower notes. The reason for 3 instead of 5 stars is the roughness of the back. It feels like some sort of coating. The front is smooth, but the back, where your fingertips rest isn’t. The overall design with the white deer looks peaceful, relaxing while playing. I wish the back of the kalimba had a better feel, as the front. If it did, I certainly would have rated 5 stars.
