I bought this soundbar to upgrade my car audio. Had it for about a week then I left my car locked in a Home Depot parking lot for a few hours while I rode around town with some co workers. They dropped me back off at the Home Depot and I come to find my windows smashed and the sound bar with the subwoofer is missing, along with a jacket, some water bottles, cold weather gloves, and my deodorant and cologne. Filed a police report and there was a camera in the area, but a tree was blocking my vehicle and you can’t see my vehicle at all sadly. But for the week and a half that I was able to use it, it was a great soundbar. The police think it was a homeless person bc they stole deodorant and cologne and my jacket, along with the sound bar which they probably brought to a pawn shop. But like I said, amazing sound bar and a great deal for the price. Would definitely recommend buying but learn from my mistake. If ur going to use it for a car speaker system like me, make sure you have tinted windows and leave ur car parked by a security camera. But over all 5 stars all the way.

Easy to install. Sounds good but doesn't play that loud when turned all the way up. Included Optical cable would not connect. Had to use HDMI. Ok for the price.

This is not a high end sound system but it definitely adds some low end heft, thanks to a sub-woofer which is not overpowering. My only complaint is that the upper frequencies can get lost when it gets loud. This could make dialogue in some movies a bit hard to make out. There are multiple ways to connect and the ARC mode works very well--no need for a separate remote to adjust the volume. Between the TV and speaker EQ controls, you can tweak the sound to achieve the best balance. For most programs, this is a good upgrade that doesn't cost much.

I did not know what to expect since I had never listened to a Larksound speaker system before, but what a pleasant surprise! I had previously purchased a Polk Magnifi 2 Soundbar w/ wireless subwoofer. The sound was great but it kept making my TV malfunction so I returned it. I was disappointed because the sound was incredible for the price, but I was expecting anything in the same price range to be inferior.A couple months later I found the Larksound 2.1 soundbar with subwoofer for only $64.99, but even with the positive video reviews, I was prepared to be underwhelmed. (My wife has called me a sound snob, which I guess I kind of am, because she is satisfied with the TV speakers, even though they are tinny and have no bass at all.). What a shock when this small, inexpensive system blew me away with wonderful sound and GREAT bass! Plus, the bass is not distorted or overwhelming. The system is perfect when used as a sound bar for TV, and has the kind of punch you might expect from a home theatre system, even though it's only 2.1, and doesn't even require a receiver.If you have a limited budget, or even if you don't, this system will NOT disappoint you. I highly recommend the Larksound 2.1 soundbar with subwoofer.To keep it real, the remote is pretty lame, and my only complaint about the product. It works, but it could have a bit more functionality and come with a bit more heft (it is of very, VERY lightweight plastic construction.).

Sound bar died immediately after initial device connection and disconnect. Would not power on although plugged into same outlet.
