Having no washers when in the desert is not a good thing. The pump is very simple to install, and as long as the reservoir isn’t damaged, it will absolutely fix your washer issues. Some varying sizes of hose will help with the installation, as the pump is a press fit, it sits in a grommet that is installed in the tank, simply push the pump into the grommet, and I recommend new grommet as the old one will be dried out and the fit won’t be as good. The hoses are short and if they are old and cracked, simply replace them with new ones, all are very short, and I managed to get one to slip over the other making a tight leak free seal. The wiper washers will work like new, and the headlight washers also will work better.

What can I say, it works. I imagine you could find lots of other uses for it, such as a sprayer to repel those pesky trick-or-treaters. Or maybe a garden fountain which spurts water. Have fun making your neighbors think it's just a local rainstorm. "Over one house? how local can a storm get?"

Installation was easy after I made sure to watch several Youtube videos on how to do it. Didn't need the new grommet. Getting the heat shield back on the tank was the trickiest part.But strangely I had to prime the pump to get it to work.1. Installed it. It ran but no spray.2. Took the pump out of the tank and put in a cup of water and it sprayed fine.3. Reinstalled it and still no spray. I figure the pump lost its prime.4. Popped off the hose while pump was installed, water ran through it, put hose back on, and it worked.
