Whined and moaned worse, right out of the box, than the 28yo pump it was replacing. Installed by a certified mechanic. No more critical car parts purchased online for me .Unfortunately Amazon doesn't allow 0 or negative star ratings.

So far it’s great and unlike other reviews, mine is very quiet. Make sure you bleed lines correct way. I think this may be an issue with noisy ones. 10 turns left to stop, right to stop (slowly so you don’t force fluid to overflow). Do this with the cap off and motor off, wheels in the air. Then 10 also with cap off but vehicle running. Top off fluid, put cap on and enjoy.

It fit my 2006 Impala but it doesn’t work very well. After it gets warm, it won’t turn the wheels at a stop. It’s louder than the factory one I replaced with it. I had it for a while before I was able to install it, otherwise I would return it. The first one they sent me had a broken reservoir, and this was the replacement. Do not recommend.
