I got this impact driver because I'm a bit of a home gamer with vehicle repairs. I am no professional and only need to use it occasionally, so I didn't want to drop the big bucks on a high-dollar tool without seeing if I'd even use it first. I've used it on a couple repairs from a brake job to changing an alternator and it has been excellent! It has excellent torque both in forwards and in reverse. It effortlessly removes lug nuts and mounting bolts in seconds as opposed to taking several minutes doing it by hand. Battery life seems good, as I haven't had to stop in the middle of a project to charge. My biggest complaint with it is it is really, really heavy and induces some fatigue after using it a while. I've used other impact drivers that had a more reasonable weight and still packed the needed punch. However, for the money, this is a great tool especially if you only need to use it occasionally.

I already have a impact driver for normal things around the house, but it is nothing compared to this thing in terms of power. As a test I tried to take off a lug nut off from one of my car tires and this thing was able to break it free in just a few seconds while my normal household one wasn’t able to break them free at all. The fact that this already comes with a few of the standard sockets you would use this for was really nice. But just in case you want to use this for normal things around the house it also comes with an adapter to fit all of the quick disconnect things that other drills use. I personally would not use this for my day to day things because its heavy, it has to be in order to have the power it has. One other thing I found really nice was some of the settings to help control the force of the impact, this is really nice so you don’t break things or strip things you don’t mean to. I found why this was important while trying to remove some phillips head screws, it just stripped them and turned the tops of them into a bowl. It came with some rubber gasket rings that I was not able to tell what they were for, the instructions are for what seems to be all of there products not just this and it has no information about these gasket rings. This was for sure the only thing I would say I don’t like about this product, the documentation is really really bad.

I did a tire rotation today and this wrench zipped the lugs off and then back on! It worked like a champ and after doing the 4 tires, off and back on, the battery indicator light still showed full bars. I used a separate torque wrench to finish snugging up the lug nuts. With more practice, I’ll get a better feel for how much impacting to do to get close to my needed torque.I noticed some confusion in other reviews about what to do with the steel pins and rubber rings - it’s true that there are no useful directions with this tool. When using a socket, you line up the sides with holes (with the 1/2†drive) and insert the pins through those holes. Then slip the rubber rings into the groove where the holes are so they hold the pins in place. This probably isn’t required for using a socket but it is nice assurance that the socket won’t fly off while in use.I haven’t charged the batteries yet or tried any other uses like driving screws with the adapter it comes with. But so far I’m super happy with its performance and power.
