I bought these to install on a huge tree for my grandkids so they could get up the branchless first 8 feet. The hardware that comes with it is intended for installing on a plywood board. So new stainless steel bolts and washers were an big additional cost. With the right drill bit, these were easy to install. The result was worth it. The kids are up and down like squirrels. Me, too...but more like a sloth.

Bought this set for a climbing wall on new playset we build for the kids. We initially liked the color assortment and shape of the pieces. The construction seems solid, and the kids like climbing on them (shape, grip, etc.). Easy assembly with the included drill bit, and the lock washer system worked well on the planks we used (5/4" x 6", so 1" thick boards). Overall we are happy so far with the product.

A+! My kids have bunk beds with slides attached. They got bored with the slides & frankly, the slides dominate too much space in the rooms. Hubby bought these & attached them to thick wood sheets cut to fit where slides were attached. Anchored it on with "U" brackets to the metal frames. Now kids have custom rock climbing beds! & mom has less headache trying to walk over 4' sticking out metal slides. 1' is all it takes up now.

We used this set to build a climbing wall for our kids in the basement. This stuff is excellent quality. Its the perfect amount of holds for a young kid on a 4 X 8 wall. I liked that all the holds have the same distance between screw holes, less room for error. They also came with high quality screws. Every single one went up with no hassle. Great buy at a fraction of the price of local hardware stores.

Bought these for my 7 y.o. she was crazy about climbing when I ordered. Mounted on her bunkbed-sturdy, easy to install(with a few modifications to bed) and solid... now if only I can get her to use them. Great product.

The extended T-Nuts make these climbing hand holds WAY EASY to install. I used 5/4 1x4 pressure treated deck boards and the T-Nuts and Bolts were the perfect length. These were the perfect addition for our homemade climbing wall on our swing set.If you are looking at other climbing holds, buy these!!! The ease of installation will make up for any small price savings you might find on other sets!

We bought these for our “outdoorsy†9 year old granddaughter and these are amazingly well made. Larger grips than expected.I would use these for any adult of any size or weight.Came with all hardware and a few hours to build a wall and she was climbing with confidence.Going to buy more to expand her climbing wall!

Worked well, easy to install good quality hardware. There’s 3 shapes in 5 colors, so not as much variety as I was hoping but you can position them vertically, on an angle, etc to increase the challenge. Used 18 on a wall 3’x 8’ and its great for a 3 year old and 6year old.
