I purchased three of these bags in purple, mint green, and light pink. I was extremely pleased with the quality, color, durability, and size of the bags. These were their favorite colors so I was very happy that they were the same shades as advertised in the listing. The size and material was perfect for my co-teachers, as they often have to carry materials back and forth from school, so I wanted the bags to be a thicker material so they would last. The off-white color was perfect as I wanted something in that color tone so my students could put their handprints on the bags with fabric paint, and show up against the bag. It turned out adorable, and my teachers were so excited to have such a nice bag that would be practical, was large enough for books and a computer, while helping them to remember our students in a very memorable year for teaching. The bags were large enough for all the handprints to fit, which was extremely important to me. I prewashed the bags and had the children paint their hands with a paintbrush using Tulip Fabric Paint, then helped them put their handprint on the bags. The paint adhered beautifully to the bags, dried quickly, and helped me give them a one of a kind gift for all their hard work this year. I look forward to ordering more next year! If you are on the fence about these, definitely get them, as the size is great, they can hold a lot, they are made from quality materials, the handles are comfortable on your shoulder, and are a nice length.

This is a GREAT tote bag! I needed something for lugging all of my “stuff†back and forth from work- (which is somehow always a lot- shoes, lunch, an extra sweater, etc...) and I had been looking at a beautiful, much more expensive Laurel Birch tote bag. It was really beautiful, but I just wasn’t sure about spending so much, and it wasn’t even really as large as I needed, so I looked around and ended up finding this one. The price was amazing, and although a bit plain looking, I bought it.It’s actually a nice looking bag. It looks well made and not “cheap lookingâ€, probably because it IS well made. It’s also very soft & flexible, and not stiff and tough like some canvas tote bags are. The handles are the perfect length and allow me to either comfortably carry it over my shoulder, or by hand. It holds a lot- I can easily fit all of my “work stuff†in it, and the handles are sewn in well and are strong, so I don’t have to worry about them tearing from the weight of the stuff inside.I love this bag so much, that I also ordered the next size up- the grocery bag. I highly recommend.

While these are not the sturdy LL Bean bag which will almost stand up on its own, I didn't pay $80 plus for the bag either. This bag is a soft canvas bag with long-enough handles for my to place a filled bag on my shoulder. The canvas is a thin canvas (again, not as thick as LL Bean) but I've thrown canned goods in the bag with no tears - so I gave 5 stars for durability. The bag has easily gotten dirty and I've tried to wipe the dirt off with a damp cloth to no avail. I'm afraid to put the bag in the wash because I don't want the color on the handle to fade onto the canvas. Therefore, I gave this 4 stars in easy to clean. If I had thought before hand and sprayed the bag with a Scotch-guard life substance, then I would have an easier time in cleaning - or at least I hope. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the bag; so much so, that I've purchased 4 of them.

I looked at a lot of bags; I actually needed an extra-large bag that I could use for beach yoga. I needed something big enough to accommodate the large beach blanket as well as the mat and a smallish bag for my “stuff†and a drink. This was actually one of two that I bought and the other one actually works better than this one, but I AM KEEPING IT because it is such a great value for an oversized bag like this. It is actually structured and stands up on it’s own (which the other one does NOT) There is an inside zip and a zip top and a side pocket for phone. I highly recommend this bag. I didn’t give it 5 stars for cleaning because it only comes in WHITE canvas with colored trim. so if I try to bleach it I know the color will run. I am not sure it will wash up great. But at this price, when it gets too grubby, I will take it to good will and it will serve a great purpose for someone else who needs to carry a LOT OF STUFF>

These are nice big canvas totes. Heavy duty with an inside and outside pocket. I am very happy with this purchase.

I would never use this bag for shopping. Just the meat alone would weigh it down and make it hard for me to carry. For grocery, I would use a sturdy folding cart with wheels like "dbest products Quik Cart two Wheeled Collapsible Handcart with Blue Lid Rolling Utility with Seat Heavy Duty Lightweight". As long as your heaviest items can fit in that cart, then it's a smooth shopping experience if you don't have a car and you need to tote your stuff from one place to another.As for this bag, it's made of canvas material that isn't that pretty to tote around. I use it like a handbag at informal places like carrying my detergent and bleach to the laundry. It's not big enough to carry all my laundry, though like my blankets. It can carry my laptop so it's not totally useless. It's got a small zipper pocket inside as well as an open pocket in the front outside where you can put your wallet, keys, and cellphone. It's' ok as a schoolbag and can even hold books and a small pop-up umbrella.

Nice bag. I though it has zipper but it doesn't. A little bit disappointed as I purchased it to use as beach bag. It should be very good for grocery shopping.

This bag is exactly like I thought it would be. It is a large enough bag for carrying all my gardening and relaxation items at the same time. My last tote was from France and it was made of straw, I hope this lasts as long as the other one did.
