This generator outputs square waves ONLY and does not output sinusoids. There is an option to change from a square wave to some other type of wave, but the option is greyed out and does not respond to efforts to change the waveform type. Advertizing this unit as an RF signal generator is misleading, it does not generate RF sinsusoid tones as all other RF Signal generators do.

As an rf signal generator it works OK but frequency range is not not suitable for HF . I feel the nano VNA is more usefull for most amateur radio use
