The adhesive bottom of the scratch mat does stick to a rug or anywhere you want y to I place it. My cat still prefers my rug over the mat.

We live in a small apartment so no room for extra scratching posts. My cats love this! We have it up to protect areas that they showed interest in scratching. It's easy to cut to size and the adhesive works well. The thickness is great and it lasts for a few months. We will have to paint when we move out because the adhesive does take some paint off, but this protects the areas from damage from scratching.

I have 3 cats and they like to scratch the fabric furniture. Product looked promising. Easy to cut and apply and adhered well. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks I wanted to remove it. It has to be peeled off and in the process it pulled off threads of fabric. Terribly difficult to remove - essentially ruined areas of my couch where it had been stuck on. I suggest to apply it on a inconspicuous area of your furniture to make sure it doesn't ruin it upon removal. Maybe it removes better off furniture that is not fabric - but I would not chance it. I would not purchase again for this reason.

I bought these pads because my cats had scratched the posts of my kitchen porch door and the wood was going to tatters. The scratch pads were easy to apply and look better than I had hoped. They adhere very well and are not difficult to reapply should you need to fix the position after applying. They so come with an extra roll of tape that leaves no residue for applying to furniture. My cats seem to enjoy scratching it and don't seem disappointed by the covered wood. These will most likely need to be replaced at some point because they are thin and when the cat scratches they do pull out a small amount of fiber fluff. However, this is a very cost effective, attractive solution to an unsightly problem. Highly recommend!

This product does help protect my couch from scratching. However, my cat seemed to easily destroy it. I'm not sure if the material is durable enough or if my cat has really strong claws

This carpet stuff matches my sofa and does a good job of providing some protection for the sofa arms my cat loves to scratch. However, the adhesive isn't very strong. I augmented with a hot glue gun and that took care of the problem. A good value for the money.

I had tried every method to prevent my cats from scratching my couch (foil, sticky surface, citrus oils, deterant scented sprays, etc) this is the only thing that has worked. The adhesive is strong enough to hold on while the cats are scratching, but don't bother with the extra tape it's finicky and works great without it. The fabric is thick like carpet and my cats can't tell the difference. The colour blends into the couch much better irl.

Cats love this and it’s saved my sofas!! It came with some tape that was useless but the actual fabric has a sticky back which you can peel and that sticks perfectly. Buying more.
