We live on a busy gravel road and this has increased safety on 2 sharp corners.

I’d been looking for a convex mirror for some time and this one has worked out really well. It’s much larger than I anticipated, which is awesome. It’s entirely made of plastic for the housing as well as the mirrored surface. However, that makes it easier to mount as one made of metal and glass would be extremely heavy. As the mirrored part is plastic, it doesn’t produce a perfect image, but certainly one good enough to see any obstacles. The bracket and hardware included make install very easy and quick.

Flimsy mirror that will not go to convex without some form of dimple or indentation. This product is really pretty bad. The orange frame is rugged and nicely formed to protect the mirror from the elements. But with a mirror like this, one questions whether or not to even put it up! I will attempt to McGyver it with some expansion foam between the back of the mirror and the orange frame to see if that keeps it popped out. But I question that as well since is it an acrylic silver surface that serves as the mirror and even in peeling off the protective coating, pieces of the silver mirror came off. This is not worthy of consideration. The second photo is of the mirror (24") I hoped to replace with this since it is larger(30"). But the old mirror is actually a hard backed glass mirror that has held beautifully for several years. Go with something like that.

Does it work? Yes. Is it an impressive high quality item made out of premium materials? No.The mirror is simply a piece of flexible mylar-like material with a shiny coating on one side. It comes with a protective plastic film adhered to the front surface of the mirror which isn't the easiest to get totally removed unless you unscrew the mirror from its red plastic housing, which is what I did.Be aware that the screws used to hold the mirror to the housing are not evenly spaced so if you decide to separate the two parts to get all of the protective film off, you'll need to keep track of which holes go where. In other words, mark the two pieces when you remove them so you can reassemble it exactly like it was originally. Also, after removing the protective plastic film, my mirror had a bunch of marks on it that I couldn't remove using window cleaner or isopropol alcohol.Given its mediocre construction quality, I'm not sure if it's worth its current $89.99 price.

I didn't realize how big this was when I ordered it but the size is awesome. The material quality could probably be better but it does what it's supposed to do. I just hope it holds up over time. Having this is a huge safety improvement for our driveway!

This mirror is okay, but it's not necessarily what I'd call "premium quality". The acrylic mirror was popping out the bottom of the frame a bit when I opened the package. I was able to pop it back in but it came out a bit later so I don't know if that will be an ongoing issue. Also, the mirror surface wasn't completely smooth and there were a couple places that had indents that caused the image to warp (these seem to be permanent, and they remain even if I push in the mirror a bit and let it pop back out). For something like home use at the end of a driveway or in an office parking lot, this could be a good choice, but the pictures they have of it on a public roadway or in a commercial parking garage seem way above the pay grade of this mirror.

I opened the box and found a portion of the mirror popped out on the bottom, after I removed the protective film I was able to pop it back in but it creased. There are a series of round impressions on the face and a line that won’t polish out. At a distance those marks aren’t very visible. Overall this mirror does what it is supposed to do, create a safe factor in an area with poor visibility. The steel brackets are easy to assemble and it offers lots of swivel room.
