Honestly, I’m not a big candle person and generally only use them at Christmas. These wax dots work as they are supposed to, keeping taper candles upright. No more leaning candles that are a risk of tipping the candlestick over.

I received a pair of crystal candle holders for Christmas and the candles were wobbly so I found these guys and they were perfect! You can’t even tell they are there. Very happy with my purchase.

These are great for taper candles that don’t fit inside holders! Most of the taper candles that I purchase are too thin for the taper candle holders that have. This causes the candles to lean to the side. These hold candles well and I would recommend them.

Sometimes taper candles don't fit into their holder for whatever reason. My stepmom used to wrap a thin layer of napkin or tissue around the base to hold them in place. I used to drip waste wax into the base of the holder to hold the tapers in place.Now that I've discovered these awesome things, I'm never going back to those measures ever again! These are crazy convenient! They're slightly adhesive and pliable; I stick one to the bottom of the taper in such a way that it can either grip the bottom of the holder (if it can reach) or the side (if it can't reach the bottom), and the adhesive property of the little "dot" holds the taper firmly in place with nary a wiggle or a lean. I don't know how long these things have been around, but they're genius!!!! I'm a little sad that they only come in packs of 24, and that they're not reusable.... but I love them so much, I consider them an investment worth making for the sake of my love of tapers around my house.
