Big Box home improvement stores only sell threaded downloads. Amazon fans are NOT threaded for the downrod. This was the solution for stopping the wobble from the threaded portion. I only wish I tried it sooner.

This fan moves a lot of air, even at the lowest speed. Assembly instructions are horrible but it's not that hard to figure out. My primary complaint is that the description says it can be used on a sloped roof. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE. The instructions state this but I already have unpackaged the fan and begun assembly before this comes up. It took extreme modifications to get it to work at an angle and the cover to hide the canopy screws cannot be used (photo) because the download is off center.

I ordered this specifically for the wiring extension. This arrived with just the downrod.
