I have a trailer and truck I need to add many small LED lights to, and I'm going to see if these connectors will work. Right now, I'm gathering up the needed supplies, and plan to do the installation over the winter months. I'm hoping these will allow me to make the many connections and tuck away out of sight. They do have to be weatherproof and if they do not feel as they will seal up like I need, i can add some di-electric greese and or a small drop of RTV where the wire enters the connector.

If you're tapping into individual wires on long runs these are great. If you have two conductor jacketed wire, try another option - you have to cut the jacket back to expose the wires and splicing the two ends together requires a lot of goofing around to get the two sets of wires laying on eachother perfectly so the lid to snaps down on them and presses them into the contacts.That being said though, it can be done but requires some patience. Not recommended if you are splicing ends together in tight quarters, like inside the bow compartment of your boat while standing on your head.

I expected these to be a cheap piece of junk, but they are fairly sturdy and work great. I used a pliers to squeeze mine shut in fairly cold weather and none of them broke. Way faster than soldering and better looking than standard splices.

I purchased 2 sets of 24 of these and appropriate 20AWG TYUMEN wire from Amazon.These did not seem to accommodate the wire, whether centers or thickness or wire, it was rated for 20AWG wire and did not work! It resulted in me spending HOURS to try and get them to work, but no connectivity and stopping the job and still looking for a solution!! VERY unhappy as if this would have worked, would have been a simple solution. :(

Used the Kalorary connectors to install some rock lights on the underside of my camper. Very impressed with these connectors. They helped to make the install extremely simple. There were no issues to be found once I had everything installed and turned the lights on for the first time.
