Turned my closet into a vocal booth with a couple packs of this. Works great. The only challenge is getting them to stick to the wall. What you think will work probably won't.

Used these to reduce engine noise on my Yamaha AR210. They worked very well at reducing the noise and made it possible to have conversation cruising down the lake without yelling.

I purchased these to put on a window facing a very noisy street. They help reduce the noise a bit but I also have sealed the window and put up a noise reducing curtain so I am unsure how much noise they are actually blocking. They don't have glue or glue backing, so I had to this myself, which is fine but my main issue is the fumes emitted from the chemicals on them. The first night I slept with them on the window I had a horrible migraine from the fumes. I thought about returning them but I really need them because the street noise is unbearable on my bedroom. I've been aerating the room and running two air purifiers but night 3, I have a migraine again from the fumes. If it keeps happening I may need to reconsider.

It didn't come with a way to put it on the wall. I had to use a staple gun to get these to work. They have reduced the sound in my room and has helped improved insulation, not as cold anymore.

Smells don't normally bother me, nor do I ever get headaches. However I had these airing out in my guest room for 2 days and everytime I went in there I immediately could feel a headache coming on from the chemically smell they put off. They are now airing out in my garage and it's been 4 days. The smell is very much still there, and you can smell it throughout my entire 2 bay garage. I think it's getting slightly better though.....? I'm honestly scared to put them in the room where I spend a lot of time. Thankfully I don't need them for sound dampening yet, but as I can't see how it's possible for any human to endure that for even just an hour let alone multiple hours for work.

So these kind of foam tiles will absorb and help reduce reflection of the frequencies from surfaces. I needed to create a soundproofing solution around my bed which is directly beneath a commonly used stairwell in a building with creaking floorboards (don't ask I'm like a gremlin under the steps OK lmao) I used these to line one side of a bulletin board as the main component. The bulletin board provided support, I dropped it down using four lines of yarn (doubled three times and tied with knots along the lengths to enforce strength) from the ceiling (I also installed some of these along inside the ceiling to help absorb echoes) I also used an old long length of rug and a few thick blankets on the sides to complete the enclosure (with some more of these draped on top of them after I tied them together) and several large thick quilts to complete my solution. The key is that this should remain on the -outside- facing part of your solution as that is what they are designed for. They won't block all sound. The structure also needs more solid components and layers which reflect the frequencies (like the bulletin board.) Hard dense surfaces reflect, these absorb. So think of it like catching or trapping sound. The major key component in my solution was actually the blankets which I hung in front of the stairwell opening, but I needed the dropped-down layer with the bulletin board to really enclose the space above my bed sufficiently and stop the footfall noises from above. They also did help to create a first layer of absorption for the creaking noises where I placed them above the ceiling tiles inside the ceiling facing upward (the ceiling tiles alone reflect and absorb a little sound, but not enough) So the whole project was amazingly successful! I can barely hear the creaking and dog barking and yelling and stomping from elsewhere above my sleeping area. To note, I did not need to get them wet to help them fluff back up to their original shape. I just threw them in the dryer and let them warm up and tumble around for like ten minutes and they were perfect.

Varios paneles se quedan planos y no despliegan su forma para poder instalar. Aún siguiendo las recomendaciones del fabricante, no pudieron tomar la forma ideal.
