My Lux Geo thermostat was using batteries at an accelerated rate so I researched alternative power sources and this is the one that worked best. It uses 24 volt AC (not DC) power which was required and has an exceptionally long connecting wire so I was able to plug it into an existing outlet in the attic and reach the thermostat one floor below.
