I ordered the #isinswift copper coated brake link kit to repair the rusted brake lines in my 1959 classic car. This kit comes with everything needed to cut, bend, flare and connect your new brake lines. The brake line is a copper-coated alloy that is light and very rigid. The kit comes with four different sizes of brass fittings. That's good to get your started but if you need more that just four of the same size you're going to have to make a trip to the autoparts store. I was able to get the two lines installed to the back wheels but don't have enough tubing left for the front. But at least I have the tools needed to complete the job once I get more tubing. The tools are decent quality and will get the job done. If you're looking to have something on hand to be able to replace brake lines for project cars, you may want to get a more professional set. But for a one time replacement (and maybe another time in the future) this set will work great and save you some money.

Everything I needed to get my old truck back on the road. The kit had plenty of length and the tools are definitely serviceable. It was complete and worked perfectly, plus I didn't need any trips to the store to finish the job. The case is a convenient way to keep everything together. A great deal for the cost.

This brake line kit is good deal for the occasional DIY brake line repair. When done correctly, making my own brake lines can save me quite a bit of money. My experience is that it will produce good quality flares but not as nicely formed as the pro quality kits.It comes with 25' of copper coated steel brake lines which will help with corrosion resistance plus it includes 16 fittings and 4 unions. The kit also includes a tubing bender, flaring tool, pipe cutter and 4 inserts for creating double flares. Also in the kit is a tube clamp and a blown plastic case that keeps everything organized but the brake line parts.I cut off some tubing and gave this kit a go. My plan is to use it this summer when replacing all the original brake lines on my classic car. The threads in the tube clamp grip the brake line during the flaring process and it seems they did the job a little too well. My tubing had a number of grooves and scratches below the flare and I'll need to play with it to figure out how best to adjust it. The pipe cutter, flaring tool and tube inserts all worked fine and the final flares are good but I'll probably cut a few more to see how to produce the best results.-Bottom Line: This is a good set for the occasional car repair need and it's especially useful as it comes with 25' of line plus fittings and unions. With a little skill plus the use of the pipe bender, cutter and flaring tools, I should be able to recreate any brake line shape on my car. As it's the brakes on a car, there's no room for mistakes so fittings must be checked and rechecked for leaks under pressure.

This is a pretty nice set. Not perfect, but for a more budget oriented tool, it does pretty good. The only thing I think it's missing is a way to deburr the inside of the tube after you cut it. Other nit-picks would be the bender's joints are a little stiff and I got the die stuck in the tube a couple of time while making a flare, but I think if I had deburred the tube, I wouldn't have had the issue. The included line is handy along with the fittings. They will be used up in a project or two, but it's nice that it's included.

The kit does work. It is not the best kit in the world but it will for sure get the job done and if you are trying to get the job done on a budget this is for you. if you are like me and have old Chevy trucks with blown brake lines this is a must have. I was able to replace the rear line and get the truck back on the road. the kit did work but using brake line tools in the past there is better but those come at a cost. I wanted to give this a try and see how good it was and it will def work for any of you need to get it back up and going.

This kit is better fit for household use and a good starter kit for a DIYer if you don't have any of these tools. Not that you can't use it for remaking some older brake lines on a vehicle for sure, but there are a few places in the household it could also be useful. For what you get, it's a good value kit.

My Jeep is over 30 years old. Driving it like a Jeep, things get old and broken. I noticed that my brake lines were getting rusty and corroded so I set out looking for kits to help me redo my brake lines. I saw this and it looks to have everything I will need to redo my brakes. Awesome!
