I've been binding books and journals for only a few years, so I'm no expert. But I'm happy with the way this performs when making covers, covering the boards with fabric, paper, or my own artwork using PVA glue.

In designing board games, I need to make cardboard counters by affixing printed adhesive labels to cardboard and cutting them out. These are the perfect thickness. These cardboard sheets came tightly shrink-wrapped inside a larger box. They are reasonably priced. No damaged edges, although having corner guards inside the shrink wrap would make me more comfortable if they were shipped with other items in the same box. For that reason, I made this a separate order through Amazon. Very timely shipping. Would order again.

If you need backer board for your craft projects this stuff is great. I use it to add strength to small embellishments or depth on my ATCs. It’s also good for backing multimedia or watercolor paper. I put it on my paper before painting to make it stiffer and eliminate warping. Just be sure to use non water soluble glue if you’re going to do a lot of wet on wet painting. It’s also good for stiffening covers or pages in a junk or envelope journal.
