this is a clean set up for the Blink Sync module. The profile is low that it doesn't stick out where someone can knock it off by accident. The design looks simple and clean as to not distract the eye from your home decore

I have a blink doorbell in the front and back of my home along with the battery operated spotlight with camera. I bought the sync module to avoid having to pay a monthly subscription fee. What Blink doesn't tell you is that when you drop their subscription service and switch to the above sync module your system will no longer have 'person detection' making your system more prone to pickup movement, lights, and all manor of other movements.Amazingly switching from their paid monthly cloud service to the above sync module to record locally drastically slows down camera warnings and clips. By the time the clip comes up on the app any threats to your personal safety will have already occurred!I've had the Blink system for a year now and I can honestly can say that if you're looking for a system that will give you personal safety that is quick, look elsewhere. The blink system is nothing more then a system that is a very slow 'witness' that records crimes.I don't recommend this product simply because paying to go to a system that records 'locally' takes away too much of the systems functionality.

First module box broke because it kept falling off the counter, this is the perfect solution, less expensive than having to buy a whole other module. Definitely recommend and it comes with a shorter connection plug so it looks nice and neat. The flash drive is an excellent backup to our subscription.
