Worked as advertised for my HP Color Laser 2605dn. Installation was simple by just opening the small panel on the back, inserting the card (takes a little pressure to snap in, so be careful), and powering back up. It seemed to take a little longer to power up the first time, but I just wrote that off to a standard hardware check for the new memory. Nothing else to do after that. From a performance standpoint, printing from my Windows 10 machine is only slightly faster for text stuff, but the real difference shows up when I print from my Mac Pro. Those prints used to take almost a minute or more just to start printing, but now they come out very quickly.

Worked perfectly. My old HP Laserjet 2605dn has now been upgraded from 64MB to 320MB, which is the most HP specs say I can stuff in the old printer.By today's standards, the cost is high for so little memory. However, I am happy someone is still making compatible parts for my old color printer. The memory card installs easily in a slot in the back of the printer. No disassembly needed. Just unplug printer, remove a metal cover, and c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y slide memory card into slot.Note1: Shipping was fast but not free (reasonable though). Sales tax applies in CA.Note2: This printer memory upgrade was required after I upgraded to Win7. The new printer drivers expect to see more than the standard 64MB. Bummer. Printer worked fine for 7 years without the upgrade.Baty - Sacramento CA

The memory seems to be acknowledged by the printer. Unfortunately, HP bricked my printer with a new firmware upgrade, so this is now useless to me. If you're upgrading this printer, upgrade the RAM but not the firmware. There is a known issue with it but HP has not removed it from their site, and they have no prior versions available for rolling back.

I'm a REALTOR® and sometimes have large print jobs to do. Running out of memory on the printer was the last thing I needed to have happen. Very frustrating. This memory stick took care of my low memory issues with my laserjet printer once and for all. It was quick to arrive and easy to install. I'm glad I made this purchase!

Just what I needed to bring this older printer up to speed. No problem when it was new, but recently there's more data on web pages and occasionally a page would fail to print. This module popped right in and solved the problem. Printer should be good for another 5-10 years.

I was getting a fault reading that this couldn't fix. Apparently the motherboard went bad during an update or something. The printer had lasted 10 years and it was worth a shot but this didn't do it. They would have taken it back if I'd gotten around to it in time. I would recommend it if you will get to the project within the next two weeks.

Didn't get the uptick in printer performance that I was expecting, but the memory was recognised by the machine which means it works from that perspective.

I have a 10 month old grandson -- and of course Nana and Grandpa love to take pictures. Without the memory, printing on the printer was great, but SLOW. This chip was easily installed. Once the printer was re-booted, printing speed greatly increased. I highly recommend installing this memory!!
